How did Bizezia come about?

Bizezia can trace its roots back to 1986 at the time when accountants were beginning to develop innovative marketing strategies for the first time, having been freed from the blanket marketing and advertising restrictions that existed until October 1984.

Fast forward to the late 1990s when the emergence of the internet opened up another round of new opportunities for accountants and other professionals to communicate with clients and prospects. This led Martin Pollins founder of Bizezia to envision a new business opportunity to provide a range of marketing and administration products specifically for professionals serving small to medium-sized businesses: Products that would enable professionals to provide information to their clients more easily, work more easily with them and get paid properly for the work they do. What's more, the products would be available on the accountant's own websites with the aim of attracting potential clients and improving the level of service to existing clients.

Today, that new business is now a reality. It has taken nearly 9 years to develop Bizezia Limited with a great team of people, great products and great ideas for the future. There's a good chance that users of the unique Bizezia products will ride out the credit crunch, survive the recession and be stronger as a result.

Martin Pollins
Chairman & Founder of Bizezia

Martin Pollins is a Chartered Accountant with wide experience in corporate finance and business management. He holds a number of directorships and has served on the boards of several companies, including those listed on the London Stock Exchange, AIM and OFEX.

He was a Council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales from 1988 to 1996.

Martin Pollins ran his own firm based in Sussex and was the first Accountancy firm in the UK to advertise on television and Martin went on to create and launch the CharterGroup Partnership (the UK's first Accountancy network) and then LawGroup UK (one of the largest networks of lawyers in the country).

Iman Rouane

Iman Rouane is a first class BA Hons Journalism graduate. She has worked on some of the largest women's magazines which include; Marie Claire & BBC Eve and was also a freelance newsreader for several radio stations across the South East. She later went on to work for Emap in London before joining Bizezia in 2005.
