LSC wins right to recover overpayments

[26 January 2012, the Law Society Gazette] On 26 January, Catherine Baksi writing in the Law Society Gazette reported that the Legal Services Commission (LSC) has won a test case against solicitors to recover overpayments. The High Court decision is likely to open the way to the commission recouping millions of pounds in payments made on account which were never properly accounted for.
