[26 January 2012, BBC News] On 26 January, BBC News reported that South Korea's economy grew at a slower pace in the fourth quarter of 2011, as the global economy weakened and the eurozone debt crisis hit exports. Compared with the same period the previous year, the economy grew 3.4%.
